Al Monte | Friday, March 12, 2010 7:00 pm EST |  | | Description: Al Monte is a singer songwriter who plays a variety of music from the 30's to contemporary styles including, blues, country, folk, gospel, jazz, light rock and pop, easy listening. He has the ability to touch people where it counts. Al has to his credit two CDs, Go Get A Life Of Your Own which is mostly romantic jazz, and E-Minor Soup which is all instrumental and in a variety of styles. He incorporated the services of some really fine local musicians on his two CD's including local late great guitarist Drew Lombar, pianist Noel Freidline, violinist Rebecca Zapen, and the ultra fine jazz guitarist Gary Starling. Al's music has been heard worldwide and has been played on NPR (National Public Radio) as part of the All Songs Considered. Al is a prolific song writer and has a unique playing style. |
